Where to Go-Kart Near Orihuela Costa

Looking for something a little more exciting than a day at the beach? Go-karting is a great way to spend a few hours with friends or family, and there are several karting tracks within easy reach of Orihuela Costa. Some are right on the Costa Blanca, while others are a short drive away towards Rojales, San Fulgencio, Guardamar or Orihuela. Whether you are looking for a family activity, a race with friends or something a little more competitive, there are several options to choose from.

Go-Karts Orihuela Costa

The most obvious choice if you are staying on the coast is Go-Karts Orihuela Costa. Located on the N-332 between Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja, the venue has two tracks — a large track and a smaller track for younger drivers. There are different kart categories, including 125cc, 270cc and 400cc, with options for both children and adults. The venue also has a live timing screen and podium, so you can see who really was the fastest. And there is more to do after the race, with quad excursions, children’s attractions and a bar and restaurant. For a simple karting day without travelling far from the coast, this is the easiest option.

Go-Karts Ciudad Quesada — Rojales

Around the Rojales and Ciudad Quesada area, you will find another large karting centre. Go-Karts Ciudad Quesada has two tracks, one for adults and one for children, with 125cc, 270cc and 400cc karts. The venue is designed for both individual visitors and groups, and you can also join open races if you are travelling without a group of friends. There is a bar and restaurant overlooking the track, as well as children’s attractions, making it possible to spend more time here than just the length of a race. It is a good option if you are staying in the northern part of Orihuela Costa or want to combine karting with a visit to Rojales or Ciudad Quesada.

Go-Karts San Fulgencio

Another option towards the north is Go-Karts San Fulgencio, located on the N-332 near San Fulgencio. The venue has a strong focus on karting and is a popular choice for people looking for a proper racing experience. Its location makes it particularly convenient from the northern parts of Orihuela Costa, as well as from Guardamar and the surrounding towns. If you are staying around Mil Palmeras, Campoamor or further south, the journey is longer, but it can still be worth considering if you want to make karting the main activity of the day.

Racing Center Gilesias — Between La Marina and Guardamar

Racing Center Gilesias is another karting option on the N-332, between La Marina and Guardamar del Segura. The circuit has different types of karts for different ages and experience levels, including options for younger children. The track is designed more around the actual karting experience, making it a good choice if the racing itself is the main reason for your visit. The centre also organises experiences for families, groups, birthdays and other occasions.

Oriokart — Orihuela

If you don’t mind travelling a little further inland, Oriokart Orihuela Karting is another option. Located on the CV-870 near Orihuela, this is a dedicated karting venue with a more racing-focused atmosphere. It is not the closest option to the coast, but it can be interesting if you are planning to visit Orihuela itself or explore the countryside around the city. For most visitors staying on Orihuela Costa, the coastal and nearby tracks will be more convenient.

Go-Karts Mar Menor — San Javier

If you are happy to cross into the neighbouring Costa Cálida, there is another good option around the Mar Menor. Go-Karts Mar Menor is located between Santiago de la Ribera and Los Narejos, near San Javier. The venue has different karts for adults and children, including junior options and more powerful karts for experienced drivers. It is a little further from Orihuela Costa than the other options, but it can work well as part of a day trip around the Mar Menor. You could combine karting with lunch, a visit to the coast or a walk around one of the towns around the lagoon.

Which Karting Track Should You Choose?

If you are staying in Orihuela Costa and simply want an easy karting experience, Go-Karts Orihuela Costa is the obvious place to start. For families, both Go-Karts Orihuela Costa and Go-Karts Ciudad Quesada have separate tracks and options for younger drivers. If you are more interested in the racing itself, Racing Center Gilesias or Oriokart may be worth considering. And if you are exploring further north or heading towards the Mar Menor, Go-Karts San Fulgencio and Go-Karts Mar Menor give you more options.

A Different Way to Spend the Day

Go-karting is a nice change from the usual Costa Blanca routine. You can spend the morning at the beach, head to the track in the afternoon and then finish the day with dinner somewhere nearby. For families, it can be an easy way to keep children entertained. For adults and groups of friends, it can be a little more competitive. And, of course, there is always the same important question at the end:

Who was the fastest?

Please check current opening times, prices, age and height requirements and availability directly with each karting centre before visiting, as these can change.
