October is an important month for breast cancer awareness, and in Orihuela Costa, the local community has an opportunity to come together to support this cause at Zenia Boulevard.

Pink Power takes place on Saturday, 17 October, from 12:00 PM at Plaza Mayor. Organised with the Pink Ladies, the event will feature live music, dance performances, family entertainment and a charity sale, helping raise awareness and support families affected by cancer.

The weekend continues on Sunday, 18 October, with the II Marcha Con Ellas, a charity walk starting at 9:30 AM. The 5 km route is open to all ages and fitness levels, making it a lovely way to get moving while supporting a meaningful cause.

The Sunday programme also includes a warm-up with Dynamite Trainer, Zumba masterclasses with local instructors, dance performances by Mantix Dance Studio, live music, charity stands and prize draws. Registration for the walk costs €15 and includes a T-shirt, a participant’s bag and gifts from supporting partners.

Whether you come for the music, join the walk or simply want to show your support, it is a chance to connect with the local community and make a small difference.

Sometimes, the simplest thing is to show up and stand together. 💗
